Kohima, June 1 (MExN): The office bearers of the NPCC held a meeting today at Congress Bhavan, Kohima and decided to constitute PCC Election Committee for bye-elections to 10 Northern Angami-I Assembly Constituency. The committee will be lead by Ayang Aonok as Convenor with members Seyiekuolie, Medokul Sophie, Yona Konyak and Kevi Vizo.
Organizational Elections 2017 postponed
Media Cell, NPCC also informed in a press release that in view of the forthcoming assembly elections, the Central Election Authority (CEA) of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on May 30 has postponed Organizational Elections in the states of Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
