NSS PCC (A) & VHHSS Units commemorating the 50th NSS day on September 24.
Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): The National Service Scheme (NSS) Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) PCC (A) in collaboration with NSS unit Vision Home Higher Secondary School (VHHSS) organized a programme to commemorate the 50th NSS day on September 24.
A press release received here stated that the day started with Bendang, NSS Programme Officer, PCC addressing the formal session, citing the importance of the day launched the NSS formally.
Student volunteers shared their experiences in allusion to their journey and acclaimed the value of service procured whilst in the NSS. The other Programme officers also lauded the volunteers for their unremitting dedication to the cause of the NSS. Rendering accolades to past achievements, the day ensued with a cleanliness drive at the College premises where the volunteers exhibited the spirited diligence of the NSS, the release said.
The second session proceeded with volunteers of PCC and VHSS competing in the twin events of volleyball and football where PCC emerged the victors. The session concluded with a thanksgiving service, it added.
