PDA govt accords priority on roads, power sector: Kronu

Minister for planning & coordination and land revenue Neiba Kronu today reiterated that the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government will be according priority for improvement of road and power sector in Nagaland.


Stating that roads and electricity forms the integral part for all round development, the minister said that other things will slowly catch up if good roads and sufficient power generation are in order.


Speaking at the 49th games & sports meet 2019 of Chokri Area Games & Sports Association (CAGSA) at Khulazu Basa under Phek district, Kronu said the PDA government under the leadership of Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio is serious and committed to provide better road conditions in the state.


He said that starting with Kohima and Dimapur, tender notice have already been floated in the newspapers.


Also asserting that the government is all out to provide good roads, he called upon the public to unite and work together with the government so that no obstacle come on the way while taking up the road improvement related works in the state.
