Exuding confidence that the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) Government would provide a stable government, Advisor, Power, Government of Nagaland, Tovihoto Ayemi urged the public to extend their unstinted support to him so as to enable him to effectively deliver goods to the people.
Addressing a gathering at his private residence, Thahekhu Village on Monday during a thanksgiving programme, Tovihoto said that the PDA Government was seriously committed to work for the welfare of the people. Dimapur being a cosmopolitan city, he said, the citizens inhibiting the city were a community of people who, regardless of their political and religious beliefs, care about each other and the communities as a whole. He pledged to continue working with the people seeking their inputs to work together to keep Dimapur a peaceful and progressive place to live in.
“Even though there are legislators from the opposition bench in Dimapur district, we will all work hand in hand as far as development of Dimapur district is concerned,” he added.
He thanked God Almighty for making him victorious in his endeavours. Tovihoto also thanked the Thahekhu village authorities, Church, prayer warriors, party workers, voters, family and relatives and well wishers for contributing to his success during the recently held elections.
A host of speakers including Thahekhu village Head GB, Hukiye Yeptho; BJP Dimapur President, Bendang Ao; BJP State Executive Member, H.K. Khulu; Ex- DMC Member, Kuhoi Zhimo; Former Chairman Thahekhu Village Council, Kakheho Dennis Yepthomi; Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj, Advisor, Yogendra Gupta and other also addressed the gathering.
