Pfutsero, July 22 (MExN): Phek District Farmers’ Union (PDFU) in reference to its earlier information through local dailies and letters for formation of Village/Town Farmers Units has requested all the progressive farmers in Phek district to form Village/Town Farmers Unit with one Chairperson, one Secretary, and one Treasurer and register all the interested progressive farmers in the respective villages. Registration fee will be Rs.500 per head for new membership and Rs.300 per head for renewal, informed a press release from Khazi Lea, president, PDFU.
Meanwhile, it requested submission of the list of registered farmers to the Head Office before October 1, 2017 if not done already.
