Chumoükedima, March 24 (MExN): Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society (PDMDS) led by physiotherapists Dr Bonikali V Achumi (PT) and Dr Akaholi Yepthomi (PT) conducted four-day awareness and training programme from March 20 to 23.
A press release received here stated that the training was held with the objectives on spreading awareness about Parkinson's Disease, other neurological conditions and also promoting ‘healthy ageing.’
Dr Deepshika Mathur and Dr Riya Shah (PT) spoke on Capacity Training for Professional development at NEISSR Chumoükedima and Grace Nursing College.
Various networking programmes were held across Dimapur, St Joseph Palliative Care Centre Chumoükedima, Rotary Club, Medical Doctors and various Old Age Homes.
The PDMDS Centre is located at Physionique Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre, Circular Road, Dimapur. All PDMDS services can be availed FREE of cost.
