Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): The People for Democratic Rights (PDR )has called for fair probe by the Nagaland State Vigilance Commission on irregularities into Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection Department (LMCP). PDR in a release issued by Media & Publicity Affairs has demanded the government that the current HoD, LMCP be relieved of all responsibilities and sent on leave for a fair probe by the Vigilance. PDR is also digging more into the issue and it is learnt that a certain officer in the LMCP Department has been meeting influential persons and those in power, for reasons clearly understood.
