Peren, August 30 (MExN): The Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (LM&CP) in collaboration with Peren District Voluntary Consumers’ Organisation (PDVCO) conducted consumer awareness programme at Women Welfare Organisation Hall, Jalukie Town on August 30.
The speaker GH Ramlia, Retd Principal District and Session Judge, Nagaland stressed on the topic “A responsible consumer is an asset to the society.” Haikambe Zeliang, Dy. Controller of LM & CP, Nagaland exhorted the gathering. Interaction hour was the main part of the programme where several questions were raised by the participants.
Limatoshi Jamir, Asst Controller LM & CP, Dimapur chaired the programme where invocation was done by Igumpeule, Women Pastor, Jalukie Town Baptist Church (JTBC). Vote of thanks was proposed by Josia Zeliang, President PDVCO.
