Peace Club leaders in Dimapur attend training

Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): A training was held for leaders of Peace Club of different schools in and around Dimapur recently. It was attended by 54 Peace Club leaders, a press release from Peace Channel informed.   Speaking on “Motivation and Goal Settings”, Elow Chaju encouraged the student leaders of Peace Clubs to think positive, aim higher and be with the successful people to succeed. He also stressed on encouraging each other and talking positive about oneself. He further reminded them to set their goals based on the principles of SMART. The speaker also stated that motivation is the inner drive for success and it is much easier to sustain it if one has clear dreams and goals.

  Janthuiyang RK John, Project Coordinator, welcomed the participants and introduced about the training. Vikhuli Achumi highlighted the origins and activities of Peace Channel and how it has molded and touched the lives of many youths, especially in the state of Nagaland. She stressed on the importance of acquiring inner peace to transmit peace to others. She also presented the seven principles of Peace Channel and how it can transform people by following the seven principles. The uniqueness of Peace Channel lies in the regular practice of Peace Celebration, she added.
