Emlo-To Students’ Union 57th biennial conference held
Zunheboto, January 3 (MExN): The 57th biennial conference of Emlo-To Students’ Union hosted by Emlomi village culminated on December 30, 2022. The conference which commenced on
December 27 last under the theme, ‘enriching our future’ was graced by H Hoshito Sema, Retd, Additional Director, Treasuries & Accounts as chief guest.
According to a press release, in his address, H Sema emphasised on the importance of development and said, “People should yearn for development and change.” He asserted the gathering to retrospect and make amend for the better future.
The speakers of the four-day session included Ghoito Sema, JE, PWD, Mechanical, Rev K Puhoto Chishi, Pastor, NCRC, Thilixu and Botovi Sema, Registrar, Land Resources.
Some of the programme highlights were cultural and literary competitions, volley ball and election of office bearers for the next tenure. The conference ended with a bon fire which was lit by the outgoing President, Tokavi Kiba.
