Dimapur, June 4 (MExN): According to the latest The Morung Express Poll results, only 7% voted for the Church to the question as to ‘which organization is in the best position to bring unity and reconciliation’. The Naga Hoho, which was the other choice for voters, did not do any better either with only 8% voting for it.
However a staggering 85% voted for the ‘Others’ category with most giving the suggestion that the process must involve a ‘peoples’ forum’. Reconciliation needs people of moral integrity.
People should select individuals to work for reconciliation, a voter suggested while another added that the initiative has to be through a forum of people from different organizations, or individuals with vast knowledge in the subject matter.
“They all have to be people with credibility and integrity. To limit it to Church and Naga Hoho would be a disaster”.
Quite surprisingly, one person while voting for the ‘Others’ suggested that the Indian Government would be in the best position to bring unity and reconciliation but “at present they are playing and taking advantage of factions”.
It may be mentioned that the final percentage is calculated as per SMS and online voting.
