Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): People’s Forum for Peace (PFP) Dimapur, an initiative of Peace Channel is organizing a Peace Meet with the theme: “Networking for Peace to Transform the World” at Hotel Acacia on April 30 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The objective of this gathering is seek possibility of strengthening the network among the community based organization, faith based organization, NGOs, interfaith communities, tribal and non –tribal organizations to prevent and intervene in conflict situations.
In this regard the People’s Forum for Peace (PFP) in collaboration with Peace Channel is organizing an Interactive meeting with renowned speakers like Monalisa Chankija, Editor, Nagaland Page, Rev. Dr. Shiwoto Assumi Pastor, NCRC Purana Bazaar, Dr. Aküm Longchari, Editor, The Morung Express, K.P Avikashit, Professor (Retd). Md. Ahidur Rehman, President, Dimapur Muslim Council.
While inviting associate members to come together irrespective of tribe, region, religion and professions to work for peace and harmonious living in Dimapur, the organisers has requested to send 2 to 5 representatives for the workshop.
