Peren: 50% staff to attend govt offices on roster system

Peren, September 3 (MExN): In pursuance to the Chief Secretary, Nagaland order Dated August 31, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier (NCS) has stated that all government offices in the district will mandatorily function with a roster system of 50% staff attendance every alternate week. Every office will designate a nodal officer for infection control to oversee proper maintenance and implementation of preventive measures.

Following the State government guidelines for strict implementation throughout the district till September 30, the DC Peren has directed that the District will follow the latest SOP issued by the State Government.

All entry/exit points in the district will be allowed only through the existing check gates (Heningkunglwa and Mhainamtsi) and the entry into district through any other route will not be allowed.

Limitations on the number of passengers will be as per the existing state guidelines for lockdown measures. “Concern administrator of town councils within the district will ensure installation,” the DC stated. 

The order also stated that adequate hand washing facilities should be arranged at the bus/taxi/auto rickshaws stand, display adequate IEC materials (poster/pamphlets/flex banners) and conduct sensitization programme on standard preventive measures for drivers and travellers.

Customers and shop keepers are to wear facemask compulsorily at all times. The policy of “No mask, No entry,” must be imposed. Concern Town Council will conduct awareness drive on standard preventive measures for traders and their staff.
