Peren, December 7 (MExN): The Chief Medical Office, Peren District under the chairmanship of Dr. Supongmenla, Dy. CMO Peren held the District Review Meeting on December 5 at Conference Hall, Chief Medical Office, District Headquarter, New Peren.
The meeting was attended by the District Programme Officers, Nurses, Pharmacist, DAPCU staffs, District and Block Program Management Unit Staff NHM.
Pezanguno Celine Secü, District Media Officer, Chief Medical Office in a press release said that at the outset, Dr. Supongmenla, stressed on the point that monthly meeting is very important for disseminating information, to update and communicate with one another. She highlighted the attendance for the monthly review meeting is degrading and thus resolution was made that penalty will be given for the defaulters and thus urged everyone that the meeting be given utmost priority.
Further on, she also informed about the various issues that need to be taken care of in respect of irregularities of staff’s, maintenance and facility provided in the Health Units and urged everyone to be responsible.
Attending the meeting, Pauhaugan, Program Assistant DAPCU, Peren gave a power point presentation on the performance of District AID’s Prevention Control Unit under Peren District. The presentation indicated various aspects of activities as well the targets and achievements.
Thereafter, a short program was held for Advent Christmas. Sekholu Ringa, District Community Mobilizer, Peren chaired the program welcoming all the members on behalf of the CMO Peren; followed by Christmas message by Dr. Limatula, DPO NVBDCP and Temsumenla Kipgen, BPM Athibung. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Dy. CMO followed by mass prayer.
