Peren, October 4 (MExN): All Arms License holders of Peren District are informed that the Ministry of Home Affairs has launched the National Database of Arms License (NDAL) – an online portal for arms license.
Peren Deputy Commissioner, Zarenthung Ezung in a press release informed that the data is required to be fed online each time a license is issued or renewed. The system generates a Unique Identification Number (UIN) for each license holder which would be subsequently pasted on the license and in office record. The target date for completion of the exercise has been extended to March 31.
Therefore, the Arm license holders of the District issued and registered by the undersigned Office are requested to follow up as directed:
• Arms license holders who have not renewed are directed to renew and update it before the last date.
• Those who have renewed and have not submitted for sticker paste is directed to deposit the license to the office for the same.
• Those who have deposited and have not collected are directed to come along with two passport photos of the license holders. Failing to comply with the directives, the no complaints or queries will be entertained after the last date and the license shall stand invalid as per the implementation of NDAL.
