Peren, November 15 (MExN): The 12th edition of Peren District Legislator’s Football Trophy 2018 kicked off on November 13 at Peren Town with CL John, MLA gracing the ceremony as special guest.
The special guest encouraged the participating teams as well as the football lovers of the District sattting that the district is fortunate for having the Legislators initiating noble job by organizing a running Trophy. Citing the legendary football Dr. T Ao, the MLA said that any sports men should aim at becoming a hero in the discipline they understand in order to bring fame and glory to the society, state national arena. As a Christian state Christ should be first not only in the church but in whatever we do so as to achieve our goal, he stated.
The opening remark and welcome address was delivered by Ernest Sephe, President Peren District Referee Association (PDRA).
