Peren, January 12 (MExN): The District Task Force meeting on Mission Indradanush (4th round) and IPPI 1st Round Peren District was held on January 12 at Deputy Commissioner Chamber. The programme was chaired by Peter Lichamo, Deputy Commissioner also Chairman, District Task Force Committee. Officials of various Departments from Chief Medical Office, School Education, Social Welfare, District Public Relations Office, Rural Development and Administration attended the meeting. DC welcomes and expressed his appreciation to all the members for attending the meeting. Dr. Khrielasanuo, DPO, RCH/UIP highlighted about the last month performance on MI carried out in the District. She informed about the upcoming Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) 1st Round which will be held on the January 17. She also highlighted on how and what is to be done during the IPPI. She informed that the Police Department and the Assam Rifles under Peren District will also be actively involved during the IPPI. She also urged the Anganwadi workers for their support in helping out during the IPPI. The final report on MI of all the 4 rounds will be presented during the next District Task Force Meeting which is schedule on February 6.
