Peren, November 30 (MExN): The Peren District Administration in collaboration with the Peren Government College, Peren organized a Mock Parliament with the theme ‘Peren District Youth Parliament’ in Peren Town Hall on November 29.
Students from Government Higher Secondary School, Peren, Baptist Higher Secondary School, Peren and All Saints’ Higher Secondary School, Peren took part in the programme. A press release from Media Cell, Peren Government College stated that the objective of the mock parliament was to familiarize students with parliamentarian functioning and language use in the legislature.
Welcome address was delivered by Albert, Vice Principal, PGC, short speech by Sarita Yadav, (IAS) ADC, Peren with Namgwangheile and Paucaisap, PGC as comperes and attended by about 150 students and teachers. The programme concluded with distribution of participation certificates by the ADC.
