Peren DPDB discusses non-availability of govt quarters

Peren, December 7 (MExN): The monthly Peren District Planning & Developmental Board (DPDB) meeting was held on December 7 at DC’s Conference Hall, District HQ Peren under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS.

A DIPR report stated that the board deliberated on the issues of non-availability of government quarters in the district where in DC mentioned that an exercise was initiated in the past months for clearance of government offices which are illegally occupied by government employees or individuals. In this regard, the DC said proper assessment and sitting would be held in the next month for allotment of government quarters to government employees.

The board also approved the registration of Society-Peren District Common Service Centre Village Level Entrepreneur in the meeting.

The house further discussed on the agenda of DC Office Staff bus services plying from Peren town to District Hq. and also on the agenda of Taxi service which was agreed to be provided by the Taxi Union from Peren town to District Hq. Regarding this, the DC said one of his subordinate Officers will be assigned to tie up with all the Departments to have a discussion.

DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier also requested all the HODs to prepare or work out and strictly maintain a roster system of duty for the upcoming Christmas & New Year vacation as well as endorsed a copy to the administration.

Further, DC informed the members that the next DPDB meeting will be held on January 12, 2021 at DC's Conference Hall, District Hq Peren and further requested all the esteemed members to attend without fail.

Later, after the meeting, a short formal service was also held where in Christmas Message was shared by Jalukie Town Baptist Church Associate Pastor, Ihusing Liegise.
