Peren, September 7 (MExN): The monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier at DC's Conference Hall, District Hq Peren on September 7.
In the meeting, considering the education system of the students as the topmost priority, Additional District Education Officer (ADEO) Peren also apprised the board members about the inconveniences faced by the school students in attending online classes. In this regard, the DC said that meeting with the service providers will be convene at the earliest.
DC Peren directed all the HoDs to conduct social work in their respective office premises and also reminded all heads to work out a roster system where 50 percent of the staff to attend office every alternate week as per the new guidelines on lockdown issued by the Chief Secretary Government of Nagaland. “Surprise checking from the side of District Administration will also be carried out time to time,” DC added.
Dy CMO Peren, Dr Lanuakum highlighted the present figure of COVID-19 in the district, where in he mentioned that so far a total of 2085 returnees has entered the district, out of which 271 are confirmed COVID Positive and at present, 2 active cases are kept at designated COVID Hospital, CHC Jalukie.
Discussion in connection to two-lanning of NH-129 A was also held in the meeting.
