Peren, October 6 (DIPR): District Planning & Development Board was held on October 6 at DC’s conference hall Peren with Deputy Commissioner Peren, Zarenthung Ezung as the chairperson.
Registration of Rural Development Centre Society Tesen village and Farmers’ Club Tening village under Society Act of 1860 was approved by the board and forwarded to the higher authority for necessary action. Later presentation of Departmental activities was presented by RD and Irrigation & Flood Control departments respectively.
In the next DPDB meeting the departmental activities of Sericulture & Soil Conservation department will present their activities.
The chairman also reminded strongly that the departmental activities’ presentation shall not be postponed year after and the immediate officer will take up the presentation of the department when sought for. The chairman further informed that the Tening Town Council will be inaugurated probably within this month as such he requested the head of offices in the district to be present for the inaugural programme.
SDO (C) Hq, Shivam, IAS informed the board that two day official procedure training will be held on 18th and 19th October 2016 as decided earlier. He requested the head of offices of the district to submit the names of the nominees along with the contribution money at the earliest. He further informed that a LED digital bulb will be available on demand at the cost of Rs. 70 only and added that Village Councils, ward and colony members can place their demand as per their requirement.
