Peren DPDB meeting review ongoing activities

PEREN, NOVEMBER 6 (MExN): The monthly Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on November 6 at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of Hiazu Meru, DC & Vice-Chairman, DPDB Peren.

A DIPR report stated that the board held a brief review of the decision taken in the last meeting with regard to adoption of Peren Govt. College and Schools in the Sub-divisions. 

ADC Jalukie, TL Kiusumong Tikhir and ADC Peren, Japheth Woch highlighted the activities undertaken by the adoption committee and also acknowledged the officers posted at the sub-division for their immense contributions in different capacities.

 Further, DC Peren, HiazuMeru appealed the Heads of Offices to willingly come forward to contribute in support of the adoption committee.

The proposal for adoption of one village under each RD Block for streamlining functioning of VDB was also approved. However, the agenda on proposal for construction of office building cum staff quarter/fencing wall/retaining wall and office gate of Registrar of Cooperative Society, was deferred to discuss in the next meeting.

Discussing on the agenda for the upcoming 10th Inter Departmental Tournament, ADC Peren, Japheth Woch, who is also the Convener of the organizing committee, thanked all the departments for their proactive contributions, and also requested all the HoDs to be present at the inaugural programme.

The DC also informed the members regarding work distribution to the various departments for the upcoming Unity Mini Hornbill Festival. He also appealed to all the departments to sincerely carry out their assigned tasks for the successful conduct of the festival.

Agriculture and Fishery Department gave a detailed and satisfactory PowerPoint presentation of their departmental activities initiatives under Peren district in the meeting, while Water Resources Department and BDO Jalukie have been entrusted to present PowerPoint presentation in the next meeting.
