Peren DTF allocates COVID Care and Isolation Centre for frontline workers

Peren, July 16 (MExN): The Peren District Task Force on COVID-19 during a meeting held on July 16 deliberated on the need to identify more structures for COVID Care Centre and Isolation Centre for frontline workers. 


According to a DIPR report, the board after a long discussion resolved to earmark CMO Office building for male COVID Care Centre, while RSETI building and Tourist log huts for female, St Xavier College Auditorium Hall for male Isolation Centre, while Veterinary College Hostel for female.


The board agreed to regularly carry out de-contamination in all COVID related buildings or rooms. Further, the DTF members also decided to go for random sampling of frontline workers involved in COVID related activities.


The meeting was convened by Deputy Commissioner of Peren-cum-DTF Chairman, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS at DC’s Chamber to discuss on matters related to COVID-19 in the district.


The DTF members acknowledged the public and the various Civil Society Organisations of Peren District for their selfless service rendered to the DTF during COVID crisis with utmost concern for the well being of the people. The DTF members further requested them for their cooperation with equal zeal even in the days to come.
