
Peren, July 8 (DIPR): The Peren District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of July was held at DC Conference hall on July 7.
The meeting reviewed the last meeting minutes and discussed the following agendas and decided to forward it to the department for further necessary action: Upgradation of sub-centre to Primary Health Centre at Samziuram, Registration of Jalukie Pumling Nko society and construction of waiting shed at Tri Junction Ngaulong. The board also discussed Nagaland Badminton Association tournament which will be held in Peren district from August 24 where Deputy Commissioner of Peren Zarenthung Ezung will be the Convener for the tournament.
The proposal of the Re-organisation of RD Block i.e. Jalukie Sangtam under Peren to Jalukie block was differed to next DPDB meeting.
The DC in a notification said submission of staff list should be completed at the earliest as directed by the CEO. It was also decided that the forthcoming Independence Day program will be held at Multi-disciplinary Outdoor sport complex (MDOSC) for which more inputs and co-operation are required from HoDs.
The Department of Medical gave their departmental presentation highlighting the basic on HIV and AIDS. DRDA and Sericulture departments have been asked to highlight departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
Kiphire: The monthly meeting of Kiphire District Planning & Development Board was held July 5 at DC’s Conference Hall, Kiphire under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Kiphire, Sedevikho Khro.
The Board gave away the prizes to the meritorious students who secured the highest marks in Mathematics and Science amongst the students studying under Kiphire district in the HSLC Examination 2016.
Daniel Y. Rongli from Loyola Higher Secondary School Kiphire scored 94 in Mathematics, Yokhumcha from Little Flower School, Pungro scored 86 in Science.
The Board discussed on repairing of damaged roof of GPS, Phisami which was submitted by SDEO Kiphire. The Board decided to forward the matter to the Government for necessary action.
Proposal for transfer of Longtsunger Village to Pungro Administration is received from the villagers. Presently the village is under the administration of EAC Kiusam.
The board discussed and felt that the matter needs more information from the administrative officer of the area, hence decided to write to the EAC Kiusamto present his views and observation in the next meeting.
Cooperation department made its presentation and PWD(R&B) department was asked to make departmental presentation in the next meeting.
