Peren, March 19 (MExN): It was decided in the Office of Peren District Medicinal and Aromatic grower’s Association with Hatui Chuilo as its Chairman on March 8 last that another round of general meeting will be convened on April 8 at 9:30 am in Heningkunglwa Village Council Hall to discuss important issues relating to the directive given to this office by various well known medicinal and Aromatic Oil extraction companies of India.
The meeting will mainly focus on the subject of establishing each grower unit into commercial scale, nurturing and preserving various spices, saplings for healthy growth and rejuvenial of existing plantation of various medicinal plants in the District. while encouraging individual group/SHGs/ registered societies to promote more grower unit among the rural farmers for their daily economical self sufficiency will be the key issue as part of the campaign of Government declaration 2006 as year of farmers.
It is informed to each unit of the association and well wishers, groups, individuals of the district to attend the scheduled meeting positively as extra important business like newly grower unit affiliation to the association and selection of new unit representatives to shoulder the activities of its association will be done.
