Peren, May 11 (MExN): District Icon Peren, Thonjiliu Pamei toured around fifteen higher secondary school and high schools under Tening, Ahthibung, Ngwalwa, Jalukie Hq. and Sadar and Peren Administrative Hqs in connection with Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign from April 20 to 27.
Short speeches along with demonstration on ‘How to vote, get enrolled and perform ethical voting’ were shared to the students among the age group of 16 to 18 years. Booklets and forms on “How to get registered and vote, basics of SVEEP were distributed to the students. She also encouraged the students to involve in transforming the Electoral system for a better society and stressed on “One person, one vote” and the right to vote. The tour was organized by the District Election Office, Peren.
