Silver Jubilee celebration cum dedication of Memorial School Building of United Christian School, New Jalukie under Peren district held on December 3.

Jalukie, December 4 (MExN): The Silver Jubilee celebration cum dedication of the Memorial School Building of United Christian School, New Jalukie under Peren district was held on December 3 under the theme “Mission in Education.”
The unveiling of the Silver Jubilee celebration and Memorial School Building was led by the special guest, Er Achakbo Newmai, Technical Advisor, Planning & Transformation and National Highway, Government of Nagaland, followed by dedicatory prayer offered by Minister, Rev Kitanwi Chewang, Executive Secretary of Liangmai Baptist Aruang, Nagaland.

Er Achakbo Newmai, in his address reflected on his own educational journey and shared valuable life lessons with the students, urging them to embrace hard work and discipline to secure a bright future. He challenged the students to abstain from excessive use of phones, social media, and online games, encouraging them instead to focus on their studies and personal growth for the next 5-10 years to reap lifelong rewards.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of teachers, Er Newmai emphasised that a great school is built on the foundation of dedicated educators working in harmony with students. He appealed to the teachers to continue their noble efforts in nurturing the next generation of leaders, including engineers, doctors, bureaucrats, sportspersons, and other professionals.
Other highlights included presentations by United Christian School students, Bible Reading & Prayer by Kuhei, Pastor NJBC, welcome note by Kacham Pamai, Board Chairman of the school; special number by Liwang Chawang; Jubilee Blessing ministered by Z Nampibou, Pastor LBP Nkwareu; and brief history of the School by Paramchun, Co-convener.
The souvenir was released by Minister, Rev Kitanwi Chewang. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dijuanang Daimai, Convener, Jubilee Organizing Committee.
