Minister for social welfare Kiyanilie Peseyie today inaugurated a resting shed constructed by Khrietho Peli No.11, P. Khel, Kohima village at Gaziephe, about 15 km away from the state capital Kohima.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiyanilie Peseyie complimented the enormous contribution and effort of Khrietho Peli No 11 in taking the members forward by caring and reasoning each other and also extending benevolent service to other community as well. Maintaining that the construction of this resting shed will bring the members more closer, he also stated that it will go a long way in benefiting the commuters passing though this route. He also reiterated that everything is possible through unity and peace and called upon the members to continue to uphold the spirit of oneness and friendship for successful implementation of its mission for well being of the society.
Also asking them to develop better understanding in its approach, the minister also wishes the Peli No. 11 to grow from strength to strength. Peseyie also acknowledged P. Khel Council for announcing its willingness to provide land to the government for developmental activities within its jurisdiction. Also asking them to create peaceful environment, the minister called upon them to cooperate with the government and avail developmental packages being extended by the government.
Earlier, Khrietho Peli No.11 president Khriesakeso Mere highlighted the activities of Peli.No 11 while Keneingu Rutsa delivered welcome address. Zeneizo Rutsa, chairman P. Khel Council, Mego-o Mechulho and Kedozolie also spoke on the occasion. The function was chaired by organizing committee convenor Keneingu Rutsa while vote of thanks was proposed by Menuolhoulie Mechulho
