Kiphire, June 17 (MExN): Public Forum Pungro Sub-division (PFPS) with the assistance of District Administration, Pungro and various NGOs of Pungro sub-division undertook maintenance of Likimro Hydro Electricity project (LL) road from June 8 to 10. PFPS, President, S Kiusumew Yimchunger in a press release stated that the road en route to Kohima via .02 bridge stretching 22 Km was repaired by filling potholes and clearing drainage. The public of Pungro sub-division have been consecutively maintaining the road for years without any assistance from the government. “Needless to mention the road has been left unattended ever since it was constructed. This has caused immense hardships to the commuters as the road becomes unmotorable particularly during monsoon,” the forum added. Meanwhile, the Forum has acknowledged various organizations for extending helping hand.
