Dimapur, November 26 (MExN): The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) announced the launch of a new initiative, “NPS Quest – Chase Your Future”, aimed at creating awareness on retirement planning and the National Pension System (NPS) in the North Eastern states.
The campaign, designed to encourage citizens and companies to showcase their creativity, focuses on the theme #NPSZaruriHai. Participants can submit entries in engaging formats such as Reels, Posters, AI Videos, and Calculators to spread the message of financial security.
All Indian citizens residing in and belonging to the North Eastern States are eligible to participate with no entry fee. The stated themes for participation include 'Every Profession, One Pension', 'Start Early: Power of Compounding – Secure Your Retirement', 'Retirement Planning, Dignity, and Financial Independence', and 'Financial Literacy – NPS Vatsalya'. All entries must align with the official tagline “NPS Zaruri Hai” and underscore the importance of early financial planning.
The prize categories are substantial. For the Best Influencer Reel and Best AI Video, the first prize is Rs 50,000, followed by a second prize of Rs 25,000 and a third prize of Rs 15,000. In the Best Creative (Poster/Graphic/Artwork) category, the winners will receive Rs 25,000, Rs 12,000, and Rs 5,000 for first, second, and third positions respectively.
A special edition for the Hornbill Festival offers prizes of Rs 25,000 each for the Best Influencer Reel and Best AI Video, and Rs 10,000 for the Best Creative entry. The contest is open to all Indian citizens and companies, with the stipulation that each category requires a minimum of 10 entries to be valid.
PFRDA, speaking on the launch, emphasized that the competition aims to blend creativity with financial awareness, particularly to motivate the younger generation to start planning for their future early through the NPS.
Participants can register and submit their entries by scanning the QR code provided in the official campaign creative. The last date for receipt of entries is December 5, 2025. The winners will be announced on December 10, and will be felicitated by senior officials during the Hornbill Festival in Kohima, Nagaland.
