PFRDA’s NPS Quest 2.0 Awards at Hornbill Festival

The prize distribution ceremony of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) was held at Unity Plaza, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima, on December 10.

PFRDA has launched the “NPS Quest – Chase Your Future” initiative for North East India to promote awareness on retirement planning, financial independence, and the role of the National Pension System (NPS). The initiative encourages citizens and companies across the country to showcase their creativity through formats such as reels, posters, AI videos and artworks under the theme “NPS Zaruri Hai,” highlighting the importance of early financial planning.

Through initiatives like “NPS Quest,” PFRDA aims to promote and develop the pension sector and advance its vision of a financially secure and pension-inclusive India.

Participants created content around themes including “Every Profession One Pension,” “Start Early: Power of Compounding,” “Retirement Planning: Dignity and Financial Independence,” and “Financial Literacy – NPS Vatsalya.”

NPS Quest 2.0 – Hornbill Edition:

Rohith from Nainital won the Best Influencer Reel category and received Rs 25,000 with a certificate. Magdalene from Kohima won in the AI Video category and received Rs 25,000 with a certificate. Akhii Richa from Kohima won in the Artwork/Creativities category, receiving Rs 10,000 with a certificate.

NPS Quest 2.0:

In the Influencer Reel category, P Dhanabi Sharma from Guwahati and Sahil from Delhi were awarded Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively, along with certificates.

In the Artwork/Creativities category, Sentienla Jamir from Nagaland and Chinmoyee Phukan from Jorhat won Rs 25,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively, with certificates.

In the AI Video category, Watimongla Jamir from Kohima, Vamshi Vardhan from Hyderabad and Moatila from Kohima won Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively, along with certificates.

The awards were presented by PFRDA Chairperson Sivasubramanian Ramann, who graced the programme as Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, IAS; Ranbheer Singh Dhariwal, CRA – Head, Protean e-Gov Technologies Ltd; Ankaj Kumar Saxena, MD & CEO, LIC Pension Fund; and Pravesh Kumar, CGM, PFRDA.
