DIMAPUR, JUNE 21 (MExN): Two weeks since the break down of the 2.5MVA transformer at Pfutsero town, the Pfutsero Town Youth Forum (PTYF) has questioned the Department of Power over its sluggish response towards addressing the problem. A press statement from PTYF, while highlighting the undue hardship and suffering faced by Pfutsero citizens, has demanded that a new transformer with higher capacity (5MVA) should be installed at Pfutsero sub-division. The Forum also stated that it will not to accept the repaired 2.5MVA transformer. It also demanded a concrete assurance from the concern department in written format on or before June 25, 2016.
