PhD international seminar in Kohima

Kohima, March 10 (MExN): The Nordic Graduate School in Archaeology, University of Oslo, Norway, Department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University, Graduate School Human Development in Landscape’ Kiel Collaborative Research Centre 1266 scales of Transformation, Kiel University Germany is organizing PhD International seminar “Building big? Global scales of monumentality- an Ethnoarchaelogical perspective and international workshop Hierarchy and balance: the role of Monumentality in European & North East India landscapes” from March 12 to 24.  

The inaugural function will take place on March 12 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima at 10:30 AM. Prof. Pardeshi Lal, vice chancellor Nagaland University HQ Lumami will be the chief guest while Prof. RC Gupta, pro-vice chancellor Nagaland University Kohima Campus, Meriema will be the guest of honour.  

Keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Johannes Miiller, Director of the Institute UFG/CAU Kiel University, Germany.  

Welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Tiatoshi Jamir, programme organizer Department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University. The function will be chaired by Prof. Y. Ben Lotha, HoD, Department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University while vote of thanks will be proposed by Dr. Ditamulii Vasa, programme organizer, Department of History & Archaeology, Nagaland University.
