Dimapur, February 3 (MExN): The Pochury Hoho Dimapur District (PHDD) has vehemently condemned the killing of two young Nagas in Dimapur on January 31 and injuring more than a dozen, while protesting the implementation of holding elections to Urban Local Bodies. “This high handedness attitude of the law enforcing agencies towards innocent agitators and protestors is very much uncalled for in any modern civilized society, for which the Pochury Hoho Dimapur District join hands with the rest of the Nagas in condemning the senseless killing of our two Naga brothers,” PHDD President Chirhotho Rasutho and Information & Publicity Secretary Asu Nong Pochury stated in a condemnation note. The PHDD also prays that God will provide the bereaved families wisdom and solace and wishes an early recovery to the injured.
