Kohima, January 8 (MExN): The Phek Area Wrestling Association (PAWA) is all set to conduct 26th Wrestling Meet 2020 from January 29 to 30 at Phek Town.
MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu and MLA Kezhienyi Khalo will grace the meet as the inaugural guest and guest of honour respectively.
The champion will carry a cash prize of Rs. 80,000 while runner-up will receive Rs. 60,000.
The third and fourth place will get Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 30,000 respectively.
Under 16 years category, the champion will receive Rs. 20,000 while Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 7000 is set for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place position respectively.
The patrons of meet will include; Shevohii Nienu, Class I contractor, Nusheta Rhakho, additional secretary, Government of Nagaland, Kechangulie Nienu, joint secretary Government of Nagaland, Vechiso Rhakho, deputy director treasuries & accounts Nagaland, Kupota Khesoh, CEO member NDPP, Wepe Mekrisuh, president NPF Phek division, Zhoi Lohe, SDO (C) Phek, Vekuto Vero, SDO (C) Chizami, Shekhozo Rhakho, assistant controller legal metrology & consumer protection Phek, Er, Khuvozoyi Vese, team leader Beekeeping & Honeybee Mission Nagaland, Dr. Diko Nusory, farm manager Veterinary Phek and Chipakhuyi Rhakho, president NPF Youth Wing Phek Division.
The track suit sponsors include Vekhota Ciirha, Nuciikho Tenenu, Kiidepoyi Nienu, Lavoto Chizo, Zhokuve Vero, Mudosayi Huire, Thupuve Vero and Sheto Rhakho.
Presently, PAWA is headed by Kuniesa Vero as president.
Meanwhile, business hour will take place on January 28 at 1:00 PM at PTC Hall, Phek town.
