Phek Battalion of AR clears landslide at Lephori-Kanjang road

Phek Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) cleared landslide at Lephori-Kanjang road on May 10. Various spots between Lephori village and Kanjang village were blocked by landslide due to the heavy rainfall. “The road being the only medium for movement of vehicles from Lephori to Kanjang village was cleared in order to ensure hassle free induction of ration and medical supplies during the present lockdown,” stated a press note issued by the AR.
