Phek bids farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner

Phek, May 18 (DIPR): The farewell programme for the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Phek was held at DCs Conference Hall on May 17.   In his farewell speech, outgoing DC Phek, Murohu Chotso expressed his profound gratitude to his subordinate staff as well as officers and staffs of various departments under Phek district for their support and cooperation extended to him during his two years and eight months stay at Phek.   He also mentioned some of the surrounding villages of Phek district headquarter for their unflinching support and contributions during the construction of temporary school building of Government Higher Secondary School, Phek (GHSS) to accommodate all the deserving students in and around Phek Area.   The achievement so far during the implementation of Swachh Bharat at District Headquarter was impressive and appreciated by all, he said. He also said that Phek District Headquarter has become the first district Headquarter in the state to declare ‘No Smoking Zone’ which he credited to the Phek Town Youth Society, Government officials and the citizens.   Encouraging the officers of various departments, he urged them to humble themselves and serve the people with sincerity and dedication and also requested all to extend cooperation and support to the newly designated DC, Kovi Meyase.   Office Superintendent & Head DBs of DC Office Phek spoke on behalf of the Administration department. NGO leaders and Govt officials who spoke on the program included PAPO President, DPDB Official, Former Chairman PTC, SDPO Phek, PTYS, and CMA. DC staff and DBs presented special song and folk song respectively.     Chotso served with dedication: CMA thankful to outgoing DC Phek, May 18 (MExN): The Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) has stated that it is “deeply indebted” to outgoing Phek Deputy Commissioner (DC), Murohu Chotso for “all his yeomen service” he rendered for the people of Phek district.   Acknowledging his administrative service towards the people of Phek Town, the CMA on behalf of the entire citizens of Phek Town in particular and the whole community in general wished him the best in all his future endeavours.   “Chotso served the people with humility, dedication, sincerity during his stay at Phek as DC, Phek,” a press statement issued by CMA President, Zapsohelu Venuh recalled.   The association also “heartily welcomed” incoming Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Kovi Meyase, who, it stated, is reported to be “sincere, dedicated, honest and good in public dealing”. Assuring all possible cooperation, the CMA further urged the new DC to take up office early.
