Phek, September 30 (MExN): On the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the launch of AB PM-JAY & 3rd Anniversary of Ayusman Bharat Digital Mission, Phek has celebrated Ayushman Pakhwada from September 20 to 30.
As part of the Ayushman Pakhwada, the district has celebrated its anniversary on September 30, Ayushman Bharat Health Check-up camp on September 28 and essay competition for Government Higher Secondary schools level was also conducted.
The 6th anniversary was celebrated at Dr Wethselo T Mero Memorial Hall, DH with John Tsulise Sangtam NCS, DC & Chairman, District Implementation Unit AB-PMJAY CHMIS as the chief guest. In his speech, he reiterated that “it is our duty to propagate the information of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and CMHIS schemes and under this many citizens have been benefited.” He added, “We should try our best to reach out all the people who are yet to get registered.”
Dr K Chitale Hiese, CMO gave a brief notes on the celebration of AB-PMJAY, benefits of the scheme and shared the number of beneficiaries generated and registered under the respective empanelled hospital of Phek District. Best performing empanelled hospital was bagged by District Hospital Phek which was felicitated with a certificate handed over by the chief guest. Best three winners of the essay competition were felicitated with a cash prize and certificated. The competition was under the topic “Ayushman in Every Household, Every Household Ayushman”.
Ayushman Bharat Health Check-UP camp was conducted at Khuza village on September 28. Total of 84 beneficiaries have availed the services. Various specialist doctors from DH & CMO office like Gynae & Obs, Sr Specialist (MED) DH, Dentist RBSK and various Program Officers have conducted the camp.
