Phek, April 16 (MExN): The Phek District Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (PDNCSU) has opposed the State Government’s notification issued on February 20, 2026, amending the Registration for Nagaland Contractors Rules.
In a press release, the union stated that it “strongly condemns and object” to the amendment and called for an early review of the notification.
The PDNCSU also expressed support for the decision taken by the Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) during its general body meeting held in Kohima on March 24, 2026, which demanded that the Government review the notification for the welfare of contractors across the State.
It stated that it would extend full cooperation to the NCSU and remain prepared for any course of action to be initiated in this regard.
