Phek, September 9 (MExN): Phek Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori has been inducted as the president of Phek District Bharat Scout & Guides (PDBSG) at a ceremony held at Phek on September 9.
The induction ceremony was officiated by John Tochimong SOC (Scouts), assisted by Om Prakash Gupta, SC (Cub).
In his address, Nguori assured his fullest support towards the growth of Bharat Scout & Guides in Phek district.
He called upon the authorities of various schools in Phek to embrace the Scouting and Guiding movement in order to nurture responsible and service minded citizens.
Chubanungla, State Chief Commissioner for Bharat Scout & Guides, in her short speech, extended congratulation to Phek DC for his new assignment as District President of Bharat Scout & Guides.
Chubanungla also conveyed her gratitude to Heads of Institutions in Phek for their willingness to be part of the Bharat Scout & Guides family.
Vimexhonu Tetsa, SOC (Guides), highlighted the crucial role of the District President in advancing Scouting & Guiding activities in the district.
Christian Home School, Phek set a historic example by enrolling all its students under the Bharat Scout & Guides, becoming the first school in Nagaland taking the initiative towards building the character of young boys and girls into responsible citizens.
