Kohima, July 26 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Phek has informed all concerned that in view of the total road blockage due to persistent landslides/rock falls along Package-V of Kohima-Jessami Road and consequent road clearance/maintenance work being carried out along the affected areas by the concerned authorities, all traffic movement along Package-V of Kohima-Jessami Road have been completely restricted from July 24 and will continue till the blockade is cleared for safe passage of commuters.
During the restriction period, commuters have been advised to take the alternate routes along Pfutsero-Porba-Sakraba-Pholami-Khomi-Phek Village-Lanezho and Zero Point-Chetheba Town-Runguzu Nasa-Runguzu-Thuvopisu-Surhoba-Phek Town-Lanezho.
The Construction Company- KS-PIRPL (JV) has been directed to ensure that the road is cleared for vehicular movement at the earliest. This is issued for strict compliance, according to a traffic advisory issued by Phek DC Rhosietho Ngouri.
