PHEK, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): The Phek District level quiz competition on the theme ‘The life and works of Mahatma Gandhi’ was organized at Phek Government College on September 25.
All together two higher secondary schools and two colleges participated in the event. Kekhruvelu Tetseo from Pfutsero Government College emerged as the winner, while Menu-u Mero from Pfutsero Government College and Ruvehu Keyho from Christian Mission Higher Secondary School, Phek took the 2nd and the 3rd position respectively.
Earlier in the day, PGC Principal, Dr Vizovol Mekro gave the keynote address and the vote of thanks was given by Merenlemla Jamir, Asst. Professor, Department of Mathematics. The competition was chaired by Shesalu Lohe Asst Professor, Department of Botany while Tsotalu Nakro, Asst. Professor, Department of History was the Quiz Master. The event was judged by Asst. Professors Thosusie Katiry, Temjenmeren and Vedulu.
