Phek, November 26 (MExN): The Jubilee Marathon in commemoration of 50 years of Phek district will take place on December 13.
This 7 kilometres mini marathon will take place in five locations- Phek town, Chizami town, Meluri town, Pfutsero town and Chozuba twn.
It is open for 18 years and above for both men and women.
The winner in each location will be awarded with Rs. 10,000 each while 2nd and 3rd position will get Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.
The prize also includes 5 consolations at Rs. 1000 each.
Interested persons have been asked to submit name with age proof on or before December 10 in their respective locations (Phek DC office/ Meluri, Pfutsero, Chozuba ADC offices and Chizami SDO office).
The event is sponsored by Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland and imagined by Phek District Golden Jubilee Event Committee.
