Phek, October 6 (MExN): The Phek District Task Force for Immunization held its meeting on October 4 at the office of Deputy Commissioner, Phek. It was attended by Dileep Kumar Yadev, SDO (Civil) Phek.
Dr. Kolhitso Khalo, District Immunization Officer, Phek highlighted the house on the upcoming activities of Intensified Mission Indradhanush which will be conducted for four rounds from October 2017 to January 2018 in the second week of every month from October 7 to 14.
He also apprised that IMI is indented to reach out to partially immunised (drop out), unimmunised (left out) and resistant (LODOR) section to get vaccinated during the special immunization drive in all the hard-to-reach areas and villages that do not have health unit.
Rajesh K. Monsang Project Officer (UNDP) shared the stock status of vaccines and the functionality of cold chain points in Phek District. He also highlighted the status of cold chain points that are installed with temperature Loggers for remotely monitoring of temperature. The District Administration Phek extended to write a letter to the village councils of the identified villages to give support and co-operation during the IMI implementation.
