
Phek, February 14 (MExN): The Phek District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held at the DPDB conference hall, Phek on February 14 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Phek & Vice Chairman DPDB Phek, Kuko Mero.
During the meeting, the DC Phek asked medical department to set up a proper morgue having proper equipment in Phek District Hospital for post mortem, stated a DIPR report. Mero called upon the heads of offices of the district to disseminate sincere efforts in their job assigned and urged them to give importance in attending DPDB meetings as he would be maintaining a strict attendance procedure for DPDB attendances.
The DC Phek informed the house that the training for BLOs for the Lok Sabha Election 2024 would be held next month. He also informed that the agendas discussed in the last DPDB were verified and forwarded to the government for consideration, ADC Phek, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi asked the heads of offices to submit the list of the employees from the entire department for the Parliamentary Election since some of the officers and staff names were missing. He also asked them to cross check and make necessary corrections. He also notified the members of the house about the complains of absentees from office without leave and informed about the attachment of EAC Probationary to the departments in the coming days.
During the meeting, Chothazo Neinu, Assistant Professor, Economics Department, Pfutsero Government College gave a brief profile of the College through a PowerPoint presentation, while Principal, Phek Government College, Dr T Tiakaba Jamir highlighted the college profile and the problems and grievances of the college. Superintendent of Police Phek, Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS highlighted the profile of the department through a virtual PowerPoint presentation. General Manager, DIC Chozuba, Cholzo Sophie also gave a brief highlight about the PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2023 scheme for local artisan in the meeting.
The Department of Art & Culture and Labour & Employment were entrusted to present the departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
