
Phek, March 9 (MExN): Phek Government College (PGC) was assessed and accredited with B Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, as per the latest framework.
The College informed in a press release that the NAAC Peer Team constituting Prof. T. Tirupathi Rao, former Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad, Prof. SMK Qadri, Jamia Millia University, New Delhi and Dr. Donatus Kujur, Principal of St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling cited the strong support network extended by the community and district administration as one of the major strengths of the college besides visionary leadership and dedicated staffs. The institution is first to be assessed by NAAC in the remote areas of Nagaland.
PGC has expressed gratitude to the citizens of Phek Town, Old Phek village, Lozaphuhu village, Kutsapo village, Surhoba village, local churches, alumni organizations, special well wishers, legislators and government departments in the district for their strong support and valuable contributions in varied ways towards the college.
