Phek, April 11 (MExN): Phek Government College bid farewell to its outgoing principal, Dr. Katoni Jakhalu on April 10. Addressing the gathering, the Principal applauded the teachers, non teaching staffs and the students for their cooperation. She further stressed that she had to be a tough task master in order to achieve her vision to transform the college to what it is today. Recollecting her stay at Phek, she described it as a short holiday because of the scenic beauty, organic foods and pleasant people. Finishing her speech, she promised to always have a special place in her heart for Phek Government College and the other sister remote colleges. Dr. N. Selveraj, HOD, English department speaking on behalf of the teachers association thank the Principal for helping all the college personnel to realise the potentials that they possess. Vice Principal Besengulie Venuh acknowledge the Principal for bringing noticeable changes to the college during her short tenure. Dr. Nutazo Lohe, Assistant Professor also spoke on the occasion which was chaired by Dr. Seyeizolie, Assistant Professor, Political Science.
