Phek, May 29 (MExN): The Phek Government College (PGC) today reiterated its support to the demand of the residents of Bible Hill Colony, Phek Town, which has no electricity supply since May 2, 2017. According to a press release issued by Phek Government College Vice Principal, Besengulie Venuh, “the transformer has been damaged by the department personnel themselves and the wrath of the residents is boiling up for their unprofessional actions.”
The absence of the Electrical Engineer and SDO at the station for weeks together has rendered the people unable to redress their grievances, PGC added.
The college expressed dismay that it cannot function official matters due to lack of electricity. “At this crucial time when examination process is going on and results are to be declared, the absence of power supply has completely blocked online activities concerning all official matters,” the statement lamented.
Therefore, the PGC requested the department concerned to immediately look into the matter and restore power supply at the earliest possible time.
