Phek town council exposure trip to Meghalaya

In an effort to create awareness on effective community participation in the context of cleanliness, waste management and to learn and understand the mechanisms of sustaining community ecotourism, the Phek town council organised an exposure trip for 33 GBs, Ward and youth functionaries of Phek Town to Meghalaya from October 23 to 25. The Administrator, Phek Town Council said in a press release that this tour is co-sponsored by the Urban Development Department, Nagaland under Capacity Building programme of Swachh Bharat. The group led by the ADC & Administrator, Phek Town Council is visiting Cheerapunji, Dawki, Shillong town and Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia.
