The 1st social gathering 2024 of Phezoucha Rhüba took place today at 4th NAP Ground, Phezoucha under the aegis of Phezoucha Rhiiba Council (PRC).
Nagaland School Education & SCERT Advisor, Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome graced the occasion as the special guest. Addressing the gathering, Dr Yhome complimented the residents of Phezoucha for responding to the call of this social gathering in huge number and hoped that it will become an annual feature. He called upon Phezoucha community, which comprises six blocks with over 4000 population, to cultivate a sense of oneness and help each other.
PRC President, Kekhrielelie Tseikha informed that this 1st social gathering aimed to bring the Phezoucha community together as one family and to elevate the strength of unity and peaceful co-existence.
Phezoucha colony has over 1000 households as per the latest sanitation exercise records, he said.
It is one of the biggest colonies in Kohima, he said.
Tseikha said that a designated committee headed by convenor Dr Ketshukietuo Dzüvichü, will soon embark on allocating Digital Household number to the residents.
In penalty shot out competition (Men), Block 2 emerged the champion title while Block 5 and Block 3 stood 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Penalty shot out (Women): 1st- Block 4, 2nd- Block 3 and 3rd- Block 2; Tug of war (Men): 1st- Block 6, 2nd- Block 2, 3rd-Block 5; Tug of war (Women): 1st- Block 2, 2nd- Block 3, 3rd- Block 4.
Earlier, the programme was compered by Sarah Kath and Ruokuosezo Khesoh while Bendangtemsii, pastor, New Capital Baptist Church Phezoucha, Kohima and Swedevituo Philip, Catechist, St. Luke Church Phezoucha pronounced invocation and benediction respectively.
